Sempre più intricata la matassa di giocatori che dovrebbero transitare sull'asse Toronto-Phoenix-Charlotte. In mattinata era trapelata la notizia che i Raptors fossero interessati a cedere Hedo Turkoglu ai Suns in cambio di Leandro barbosa e Dwayne Jones. Lo stesso Jones sarebbe poi stato girato a Charlotte (usando la trade exception derivante dal sign and trade con i Miami Heat per Chris Bosh) per arrivare a Boris Diaw. Adesso nell'affare dovrebbero rientrare anche il playmaker Jose Calderon (che dovrebbe approdare agli Charlotte Bobcats) e il centro Tyson Chandler che compirebbe il percorso inverso andando a Toronto. L'operazione potrebbe divenire ufficiale ad ore.

Si in effetti ha un contratto da 30 milioni per i prox 3 anni...diciamo che Colangelo liberandosi di Turkoglu e di Calderon sta cercando di avere spazio salariale per i prossimi anni.

Questa trade evidenzia la latitanza sottocanestro dei Raptors. Chandler di infortuna troppo spesso, non resta che tenere le dita incrociate

Ero sicuro che vendessero qualche play o qualche guarda. Alla fine JJ è un buon play, può sicuramente fare il titolare. La scorsa stagione ha guadagnato sempre più minutaggio, anche perchè cercavano di stipare Calderonil più possibile...

Occhio a non confondere la guardia con la guardia tiratrice, che sono ben diverse.
La guardia ha buone doti di palleggio ed anche di passaggio, mentre la guardia tiratrice è supersviluppata in tiro a discapito delle altre qualità .

Comunque vediti le partite che piano piano capisci tutto.

Fisher returns to Lakers

Derek Fisher has decided to stay with the Los Angeles Lakers.

"I have decided to continue with Kobe, continue with our teammates and the fans of Los Angeles," Fisher said in a statement. "While this may not be the most lucrative contract I've been offered this offseason, it is the most valuable. I am confident I will continue to lead this team on and off the court. Let the hunt for six begin."

The Lakers have won two straight titles and five in Fisher's tenure with the team. He gets a three-year deal to return, with a player option on the final year. Monetary terms were not immediately available.

Fisher, 35, had been courted by the Miami Heat. He met with Miami president Pat Riley and owner Micky Arison at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Miami on Saturday morning where the Heat told him it wanted him to be its starting point guard and to join LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.

"I took time to consider all my options, many not reported in the media," Fisher said. "I listened to every coach, every general manager, even potential teammates in order to make the right decision and I thank every one of them. At the end of the day, there's one person I could not turn away from.

"Kobe Bryant asked me to stay but supported whatever decision I made. He and I have played together for 11 seasons, came into the league together as kids, and has been loyal to me even when others had doubts. We have won five championships together."

The Lakers had been in constant contact with Fisher and his representative Rob Pelinka since the free-agent negotiating period opened on July 1, although negotiations had proceeded slowly but amicably.

Fisher averaged 7.5 points and 2.5 assists per game last season, but he stepped up with some big shots in the playoffs, especially against the Celtics in the NBA Finals.

Sono ormai al capolinea i giorni al Al Jefferson in maglia T-Wolves. Il lungo, arrivato tre anni fa in cambio di Garnett, è sempre più vicino ad una cessione. Su di lui ci sono gli interessi forti di Dallas e Utah.

Secondo Espn.com in Texas, pur di averlo, avrebbero offerto il contrattone in scadenza di Eric Dampier più quelli di Matt Carroll e DeShawn Stevenson. I Jazz invece, perso Boozer, sarebbero pronti ad inserire in uno scambio la trade exception appena ricevuta da Chicago, più altri contratti per far quadrare la trade.

Da parte sua Minnesota sembra convinta di provarsi del giocatore e intanto ha annunciato l'arrivo di Michael Beasley dai Miami Heat e la riconferma di Darko Milicic.

Intanto sono ufficiali la riconferma di Udonis Haslem a Miami, di Tyrus Thomas a Charlotte e l'arrivo del lungo brasiliano Thiago Splitter a San Antonio.

Anche a me. Han ceduto un centro destinato a rimanere sempre nella mediocrità  per Nocioni (sidekick molto underrated) e Hawes, che è un centro giovane che può maturare e raggiungere livelli ben più alti di quelli di Dalembert.
